Nathan Harrell

Nathan “Nate” Harrell brings over twenty years of experience in information technology, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

What distinguishes Mr. Harrell is his seamless integration of technical expertise with the finance sector. In 2015, he delved into financial markets, utilizing his profound knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis to develop algorithms that identify and leverage trading opportunities in equities, options, and commodity futures.

Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governor’s University in 2018 and a Management Certificate in AI Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019.

Nate is the Co-Founder, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and Managing Principal at Wave 8 Wealth Management.

As CIO, Mr. Harrell oversees trade selection and algorithm optimization, ensuring that Wave 8’s investment strategies are fine-tuned for success. Additionally, he heads Research and Risk Management, underscoring his dedication to comprehensive analysis and effective risk mitigation.

Through meticulous research and a profound understanding of market dynamics, he designs algorithms that empower Wave 8 Capital to identify and seize trading opportunities. This unique blend of skills allows Mr. Harrell to navigate the ever-changing financial industry with precision and foresight.

Nate is married and the father of three sons and a daughter. In his free time, he enjoys playing the drums, hiking, running, and fly fishing.
